Singer Arijit Singh recently surprised his fans by performing the popular ‘Saiyaara’ title track during his concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London. Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, released in theatres on July 18. While the film emerged as a box office phenomenon, its songs also struck an emotional chord with fans and became huge hits. The title track of Saiyaara has been originally sung by Kashmiri artiste Faheem Abdullah. Now, Arijit Singh surprised his fans as he sang the song during his concert in London. Several videos from the concert have gone viral on social media.
Arijit Singh mesmerized his fans in London by singing several iconic songs such as Kesariya, Bulleya, Kabira, Mast Magan and many more. But in a moment no one saw coming, the singer surprised the audience with a performance of Saiyaara. The audience was seen cheering and singing along as Arijit crooned the Faheem Abdullah song, and gave his own spin to it. While fans loved Arijit’s version of the song, a section of netizens were not impressed. “Arijit + Saiyaara = goosebumps, didn’t see that coming," wrote one fan, while another one commented, “bro sang Saiyaara like he wrote it." A third comment read, “This is the first time I’m not connecting with arijit," while another netizen wrote, “Old song background music does not suit him !!"
