Patna, December 8, 2025: The grand Patna Book Fair 2025 at Gandhi Maidan witnessed an intense and intellectually charged atmosphere on Sunday as the EPIC Debate (Hindi) Grand Finale, organized under the Jaano Junction EPIC Show, took place on the Vyasa Stage. The thought-provoking debate revolved around the compelling topic — कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता रचनात्मकता को ख़त्म कर रही है।(artificial intelligence is destroying creativity.) The event provided a dynamic platform for young debaters from schools across the city to present sharp arguments and thought leadership.

The debate brought together distinguished personalities from the fields of academia and law. The jury panel consisted of Dr. Anchit Pandey, author and professor at Patna University, and Dr. Kumar Vimalendu Singh, a renowned literary figure. The session was presided over by Ms. Asmita Srivastava, Advocate at the Delhi High Court, while Mr. Shivam, a political consultant, attended as the "Pratham Darshak."

After a closely contested final round, St. Joseph’s Convent High School secured the First Position, represented by debating pair Sarosh Afreen and Anvi Singh. The Second Position was awarded to BD Public School, represented by Naitik Shukla and Anushka Kumari. Judges praised the clarity of thought, conviction, and research demonstrated by the participating teams.

The event reinforced the objective of the Jaano Junction EPIC Show — to provide a powerful space for youth to think critically, express confidently, and engage in contemporary social and technological issues.

Continuing the excitement, several prominent activities and competitions will follow in the coming days at the Patna Book Fair under the EPIC Show lineup, including:

  • Epic Kahanikar (Storytelling) – December 10

  • Epic Kalakaar (Painting Competition) – December 13

  • Epic Reel Challenge – December 15

Students interested in participating may register on the spot at 10:30 AM on given dates at the Patna Book Fair venue, Gandhi Maidan. Additional events such as Business Idea Pitch Competition, and Festival of Bands will also continue to engage students and youth throughout the fair.

The EPIC Debate concluded with applause for the participants’ intellectual spirit and a call to embrace meaningful dialogue in shaping the future.
