St. Karen's Collegiate School successfully concluded the Meraki 2024 Spring Camp, where students participated in various activities including a storytelling-songwriting workshop conducted by Jaano Junction. The workshop aimed to enhance students' creativity and skills in professional storytelling, songwriting, and song composition. Renowned Bollywood lyricist Kaushal Kishore also interacted with the students. By the end of the workshop, students created and performed their own original song.
Patna(Bihar): St. Karen's Collegiate School organised 'Meraki 2024- Spring Camp' at their Bihta campus for classes 6th to 8th. In this unique festivity like event, that lasted 6 days from 2nd March till 7th March, students participated in an array of activities. From sports, culinary to literary, music & multi-disciplinary classes, students also engaged their creative-self in the Storytelling- Songwriting- Song composition workshop, conducted by Jaano Junction.
The workshop was specially curated by Jaano Junction to hone the skills and creativity of the students who could take-away a learning of lifetime and explore the field of professional storytelling, songwriting and song composition.
Jaano Junction's CEO Kshitij Choudhary and Executive Producer Apoorw were the facilitators for the workshop. Famed Bollywood lyricist Kaushal Kishore also visited the school and interacted with the curious students from the workshop who got the exclusive chance to open their hearts out.
During the workshop, students were first encouraged to articulate their imagination by utilising the techniques taught to them. Later they learned about storytelling techniques, genres, oratory techniques and more.
Towards the end of the workshop, students created a brand new song from scratch. They wrote, composed, added rap, and sung their song on the finale day of the grand camp.
