
Patna, Bihar: In an era where every smartphone is a newsroom in your pocket, Jaano Junction is equipping the next generation of storytellers with the power of journalism-on-the-go.
On Friday, June 21, from 1 PM to 4 PM, Jaano Junction will host a one-day Video Journalism & Mobile Journalism (MoJo) workshop at its in-house studio in Kankarbagh, Patna. The workshop is designed for students aged 12 to 18 years and aims to introduce them to the fundamentals of modern reporting, mobile video production, and real-world journalism skills.
Why This Workshop Matters
Unlike typical “content creation” workshops, this session places a strong focus on truthful storytelling, journalistic integrity, and impactful reporting. From learning to structure a story using the 5Ws and 1H, to shooting and editing a short mobile news report—participants will walk away with hands-on skills relevant to the digital age.
Jaano Junction, India’s emerging youth-centric media platform, has been at the forefront of nurturing young talent through creative media education. Over the past few years, the platform has conducted engaging journalism, filmmaking, songwriting and storytelling workshops across schools and institutions in multiple Indian cities. With a strong belief in learning by doing, Jaano Junction’s programs are designed to build real-world skills in students that go beyond textbook learning.
