Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli visited Vrindavan on May 13 to seek blessings from Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj, a day later the cricketer announced his Test cricket retirement. A video of the couple in the city surfaced on Tuesday morning.

In the video shared by ANI, Anushka and Virat are seen wearing white outfits and face masks, seated inside a local cab. This isn’t the first time the couple has visited the spiritual leader. They have been regular attendees at his satsangs and have often been seen there with their children, Vamika and Akaay.

Virat Kohli officially announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday through an extended, emotional post. Alongside his wife Anushka Sharma, several Bollywood celebrities - including Ranveer Singh, Angad Bedi, Suniel Shetty, and Vicky Kaushal - paid tribute to his remarkable journey. Kohli made his Test debut in 2011 and went on to play 113 matches, amassing 9,230 runs with 30 centuries and 31 fifties.

Meanwhile, the couple had last visited Vrindavan in January this year, following their return to India after the Australian Test series. In videos that went viral from the visit, Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj is heard praising Anushka for guiding Virat Kohli to remain grounded and faithful, despite being one of the most accomplished figures of his generation.
