The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s request for returning his passport and said that the ongoing probe into his comments made on the YouTube comedy show India’s Got Latent will continue for two weeks.

The court also denied the release of YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani’s passport, as he faces charges in the same case.

Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, released his first podcast episode following the controversy Monday and invited guest Buddhist monk Palga Rinpoche for a discussion.

He appeared on Samay Raina’s show and asked a standup comedian questions about parental sex, body parts and intimacy which were deemed inappropriate by a section of netizens. The question that created the controversy was: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"

Following the backlash, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer, Samay, and the other co-judges on the episode, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija.

While Ranveer issued multiple public apologies, Samay deleted all India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube.

Comedian Samay Raina last Monday appeared before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell office in Navi Mumbai to record his statement over the controversy surrounding his YouTube show, appearing before the authorities for the first time nearly a month after he was asked to appear before the investigative officers in-person.

In March, the Supreme Court came down heavily on Raina for speaking out about the ongoing controversy, saying that the young generation thinks it is “oversmart" and “they know more".
