A court in Surajpur has granted bail to Deepak, the driver involved in the Lamborghini accident in Noida. The decision comes as the police continue their investigation into the incident.

Deepak’s lawyer, Mayank Pachauri, confirmed the bail decision, stating that the court granted bail with one surety and required a second within two days. "The offence was bailable, so the court granted bail," he said, adding that the accident occurred during a test drive and that the investigation is ongoing.

The accident took place on Sunday when Deepak, driving a Lamborghini on a test drive, crashed into two labourers sitting on the pavement in Sector 94. The injured were taken to a hospital, where they were declared out of danger.

Witnesses said they heard a loud thud and saw the car had hit the workers. Locals approached Deepak and confronted him about the crash. When asked to step out of the car, he inquired whether anyone had died. One of the locals accused him of over-speeding, to which he responded that he was pressing the accelerator softly.

The police said the Lamborghini belonged to YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, who has been summoned for questioning. Investigators are looking into whether he authorised the car’s use at the time of the accident.

Deepak, a car broker from Jaipur, was taken into custody after the incident. The police have confiscated the car and registered a case against him. The investigation is ongoing.
