Dimple Yadav has Rs 60 lakh diamond, owns assets worth Rs 15.5 crore

Dimple Yadav, wife of Akhilesh Yadav, won from Mainpuri in the 2022 Lok Sabha bypoll after the death of former Uttar Pradesh CM Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Samajwadi Party leader and Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav declared movable and immovable assets worth more than Rs 15.5 crore as she filed her nomination from Mainpuri on Tuesday. Dimple was accompanied by her husband, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and senior party leaders Shivpal Singh Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav.

Talking to India Today TV/ Aaj Tak, Dimple said that she was confident of winning from Mainpuri, a Samajwadi Party stronghold, and doesn't see any challenge from the BJP.

On being asked about Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's visit to Mainpuri to campaign, she said, "It's good that he came. He would have seen the development in Mainpuri, including the airstrip in Saifai and the expressway."
