A speeding car driven by the son of a Congress MLA hit a police constable in Madhya Pradesh last week. The accident happened near the bus stand in Alirajpur city.

The driver was identified as Pushpraj Singh, who is the son of Sena Patel, a Congress MLA from Jobat. According to sources, Pushpraj was driving very fast in a car that had no number plate. When police at the bus stand signalled him to stop, he did not slow down.

CCTV video shows the car suddenly turning toward the police team. Two constables quickly jumped to the side to avoid being hit. But one of them was struck by the car before it crashed into an electric pole.

The injured constable is currently getting treatment at the district hospital in Alirajpur. Police said they will take proper action against the accused.

The incident has raised questions about reckless driving and law enforcement. Even though the accused is related to a political leader, police have said they will act according to the law.
