Young Entrepreneur Killed With Grinder Machine, Throat Slit in Bihar: Grandson of Renowned Gynaecologist, Found Dead In Factory

Nawada (Bihar): The grandson of Dr. Arundhati Rai, a well-known gynecologist from Nawada, has been murdered by slitting his throat with a grinder machine. The deceased has been identified as Pushpanshu Shankar (21), alias Ankush, son of Kumar Ravi Shankar.

This incident was carried out late Saturday evening in the Industrial Area of Nagar police station. Pushpanshu used to live at his grandmother, Dr. Arundhati Rai',s house in Prasad Bigha. He used to come daily to the Industrial Area, about 3 kilometers away, to oversee the work of his furniture factory.

When family members received information about the incident, they reached the spot. Pushpanshu's broken phone was also found at the scene. Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman said, 'An SIT has been formed to investigate the matter. The accused will soon be in police custody.'

Nawada had returned after studying CA from Bengaluru

Pushpanshu had returned to Nawada about a year and a half ago after completing his studies in Bengaluru. He had completed his Chartered Accountancy studies in Bengaluru. After coming to Nawada, he joined his father's business.

He had enrolled in an LLB course in Nawada about a month ago.

Murder by slitting throat with a grinder machine

According to information received by the police, Pushpanshu was murdered with a wood-cutting grinder machine. The criminals slit his throat. His mobile phone was also found broken at the crime scene. Police have taken the body into custody and started further investigation. The reasons for the murder are not yet known.

Gopal, Dr. Arundhati Rai's staff, said, Pushpanshu Kumar left home in the morning. Calls were being made from home, but he was not picking up. I was asked to go and check the factory. The factory was closed. I entered the factory from the house next door.

After this incident, Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman, who reached the spot, said, 'A damaged mobile phone has been recovered from the crime scene, which was deliberately attempted to be destroyed.'

'It has been sent for forensic examination. Additionally, an iPad has also been recovered. CCTV footage is being scanned. An SIT has been formed, and the accused will be identified and arrested soon.'
