Dharmendra alleged that his wife attacked him and threatened to stuff his body in a blue drum, just like Muskan did to her husband in the infamous Meerut murder case.

Days after the Meerut murder sent shockwaves across India, a man in Uttar Pradesh has accused his wife of physically assaulting him and threatening to kill him before stuffing his body in a blue drum, similar to the infamous case.

According to the man's complaint, his wife had assaulted him multiple times and even warned that he would meet the same fate as Muskan Rastogi's husband.

The man further claimed that he had previously filed two domestic violence cases against his wife.

Earlier this month, Muskan and her lover, Sahil, traveled to Manali and Kasol for Holi after stuffing her husband’s decapitated body inside a blue drum filled with cement. They were arrested upon their return to Meerut.

WIFE'S COUNTERCLAIMS

However, the wife, vehemently denying the allegations, accused the man of having an affair with her younger sister instead. She said that her husband wanted to divorce her and marry the sister.

The husband claims that he has already filed for a divorce.

AFFAIR, THREATS: MAN BLAMES WIFE

The man, Dharmendra Kushwaha, a junior engineer at a government department, got married to his girlfriend, Maya Maurya, back in 2016.

He claimed that even after buying three luxury cars for his wife to ensure a happy marriage, Maya frequently abused him physically, prompting him to lodge two police complaints against her.

Dharmendra further alleged that he had caught his wife red-handed in a compromising position with one of her relatives.

On the day of the latest incident, Dharmendra alleged that his wife had attacked him and even threatened to stuff his body in a blue drum just like Muskan.

The case is under investigation, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
