A shocking video of a man dragging a dog behind his bike using a steel chain in Rajasthan's Udaipur has gone viral on social media. The disturbing act came to a halt only when a woman intervened.

The video of the incident that took place in the Balicha area shows the man riding his bike as the helpless dog struggles to keep up. "Aap ye kaisa bartaav kar rahe ho. Aap kya jaanwar ho kya? (What kind of behaviour is this? Are you an animal?)," the woman says as she confronts the man.

"Arey jaane do. Lo khol diya maine. Mat banao video (Please let it slide. I have untied the chain, now the dog is free, don't make a video now)," the man replies to the woman in the video.

"Bezubaan jaanwar ke saath aap aisa karte ho aapko toh sharam aani chahiye (You should be ashamed you are behaving like this with a voiceless animal)," the woman says.

Despite the inhumanity on display, no complaint has been registered yet in the matter at the Govardhan Vilas police station.

This is the second such case of animal cruelty reported in Udaipur in the past five days. In another incident from the Gariyawas area, a boy was caught on CCTV brutally hitting a dog on the head with a stick.
