Two Goods Trains Collide, Derail In UP's Fatehpur; Railway Officials Injured

Two goods trains collided near Pambhipur in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district, injuring two railway officials and disrupting train movement. Rescue and restoration operations are underway.

Two goods trains collided in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district on Tuesday morning, injuring two Indian railway officials.

According to the details, the accident happened after one of the trains rammed into another near Pambhipur in the district.

The impact of the accident led to the derailment of the guard coach and the engine.

The accident also disrupted the movement of trains on the stretch.

A video on social media showed the scene of the train derailment.

Another video showed railway officials at the site of the accident.

News agency ANI quoted Subhash Dubey, a doctor at the Community Health Centre (CSC), as saying, “Two injured were brought in. They came to our CSC around 7 am and they did not have many injuries, so we did first aid."

The injured were identified as Anuj Raj (28) and Shiv Shankar Yadav (35).
