PM Modi condemns attack on Slovak premier Robert Fico: 'Cowardly act'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Robert Fico a speedy recovery after the Slovakian PM was shot at during a political event on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condemned the assassination attempt on his Slovakian counterpart Robert Fico, calling it a dastardly and cowardly act. In a post on X, PM Modi wished the Slovakian PM a speedy recovery.

"Deeply shocked at the news of the shooting at Slovakia's Prime Minister, Robert Fico. I strongly condemn this cowardly and dastardly act and wish PM Fico a speedy recovery. India stands in solidarity with the people of the Slovak Republic," PM Modi tweeted.
