A recent online shopping debacle has left a customer disappointed and fuming. Rohan Das, seeking a shiny new laptop, thought he scored a deal on Amazon, splurging a whopping Rs. 1 lakh. But what arrived at his doorstep wasn't what he expected. Instead of a brand-new device, he found himself in possession of a used laptop.

In the video, Das didn't hold back, expressing his disappointment at being sold a secondhand product at full price. He warned others to exercise caution before making purchases on Amazon, urging them to reconsider their decisions "a hundred times."

His post, titled “I Was Scammed By Amazon!”, garnered widespread attention, prompting a flood of comments from sympathetic netizens. Some advised him to take legal action, suggesting recourse through consumer courts and seeking compensation for the alleged deception.

Even Amazon responded to the issue, offering apologies and requesting more information to address the matter. While some suggested contacting Lenovo for resolution, Das shared a response from Lenovo's official team. They clarified that while they maintain the manufacturing date in their database, the warranty begins on the customer's purchase date.
