JJ News Desk

A farmhouse operator in Haryana's Gurugram was allegedly beaten to death by a group of people during a clash over car parking outside the farmhouse. Two people were arrested in connection with the incident.

Seven others were seriously injured in the assault that took place during a birthday celebration at the farmhouse in Baliawas village on January 27, police said on Monday.

The operator of Oasis Garden farmhouse, Praveen, was rushed to a hospital after he was badly bruised but died during treatment.

The incident occurred when a group of people was celebrating a birthday party. They parked their vehicles in a narrow lane outside the farmhouse and allegedly blocked the road. The locals questioned it, leading to a quarrel between them and the partygoers.

Subsequently, the local men called in more people with sticks and barged into the farmhouse, attacking those celebrating a birthday party. Praveen, the victim, intervened to stop the assault, but he was attacked by the people and suffered grievous injuries.

An FIR under charges of murder and attempt to murder was filed on the complaint of another farmhouse operator, Naresh Kumar.

Two accused, Sachin and Ashish, both hailing from Bandhwari village, have been arrested for the incident.
