Patna: The India's International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.), one of the world's largest youth-led educational initiatives, is all set to host its State-Level Conference in Patna from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Radiant International School. Bringing together students from schools across Patna and other parts of Bihar, the three-day event aims to nurture leadership, diplomacy, critical thinking and public speaking through an immersive Model United Nations (MUN) experience.

The conference is expected to provide young delegates with a platform to engage in meaningful discussions on pressing local, national and international issues while developing the confidence and skills needed to become responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Founded on the philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (The World is One Family), I.I.M.U.N. seeks to nurture informed and responsible global citizens by encouraging meaningful dialogue and collaborative problem-solving. Over the years, the organisation has expanded its footprint to more than 275 cities across 40 countries, impacting over 7.5 million students through its Model United Nations programmes.

Three Days of Debate and Learning

The Patna conference will begin with an inaugural ceremony, bringing together students, educators and distinguished guests to celebrate youth leadership and constructive dialogue.

Delegates will then participate in simulated legislative and diplomatic committees, where they will debate policies, negotiate resolutions and work collaboratively to address contemporary challenges.

The conference has been designed to replicate real-world decision-making processes, allowing participants to experience diplomacy firsthand while sharpening their analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Committees Covering Local, National and Global Issues

Students will participate in a diverse range of committees designed to expose them to governance and policymaking at different levels.

Local Committees will deliberate on issues affecting Patna and Bihar, including education, healthcare, infrastructure and youth development.

National Committees will discuss policies, governance and contemporary issues shaping India's future.

Meanwhile, International Committees will simulate global forums where delegates will deliberate on climate action, peacebuilding, sustainable development, international cooperation and other pressing global challenges.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

In addition to committee sessions, participants will have the opportunity to interact with distinguished speakers and mentors who will share their experiences and insights on leadership, public service and nation-building.

Organisers believe the conference goes beyond conventional academics by encouraging students to think critically, articulate their ideas confidently and appreciate diverse perspectives. The event also aims to instil civic responsibility, empathy and a spirit of collaboration among young participants.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders

With Model United Nations conferences gaining popularity across the country, the I.I.M.U.N. Patna Conference is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from students eager to engage with real-world issues in a structured and intellectually stimulating environment. Jaano Junction, the official media partner for the conference, will be covering key developments from the three-day event, including the inauguration, committee proceedings and major highlights.
