Hyderabad student missing in US since 2 weeks, family gets ransom call

Abdul Mohammed, a 25-year-old from Hyderabad studying in the United States, has been reported missing since March 7. His family reported receiving a ransom call, allegedly from his kidnappers.

A 25-year-old student from Hyderabad has been missing in the United States since March 7, and his family in India says they received a ransom demand.

The caller claimed they had kidnapped Abdul and demanded a ransom of $1,200 for his safe return. They further threatened to sell Abdul's kidney if the ransom wasn't paid.

Abdul's relatives in the United States filed a missing person report with the Cleveland Police on March 8. A lookout notice has been issued for Abdul.

Cleveland Police are currently investigating Abdul’s disappearance.
