Hyderabad murder accused stabbed 12 times, strangled, reel posted on Instagram

A 26-year-old man, recently released from jail, was murdered in Hyderabad by four unidentified persons, who filmed the act and posted it on Instagram.

A case was registered against four unidentified persons in Hyderabad on charges of murdering a man and filming the act. The accused later posted the video as a reel on Instagram.

According to the details, the victim was identified as 26-year-old Teju, who was reportedly released from jail two months back.

Commenting on the incident, the police said they received a call informing them about the murder at nearly 4 am on Tuesday. The accused had fled the spot after killing Tejas and filming the act, they said.

Police also said the victim was an accused in a murder case and resided near the Pragati Nagar Lake in a rented accommodation with one Mahesh.

On the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, Teju was reportedly invited by the four accused to consume alcohol. They later stabbed him multiple times, leading to his death.

Police said further investigations into the case were underway.
