Delhi Metro Turns Into WWE Ring As Women Trade Slaps, Punches, Internet Jokes: ‘Seats Toh Sab Khaali Hain’

The two women were reportedly fighting over a seat, despite the metro coach being nearly empty.

Another day, another viral video from inside the Delhi Metro has captured the Internet’s attention. Often described as the lifeline of the national capital, the Metro this time doubled as an unexpected “wrestling arena". A clip recorded by a fellow passenger shows two women engaged in a heated fight inside a nearly empty coach.

What appeared to start as a minor argument soon spiralled into a full-blown scuffle. The two women were seen exchanging slaps and punches.

The few-second-long clip, which has now gone viral on social media, began with one woman pinning down the other on an empty seat and tugging at her hair with full force. The woman on the seat tries her best to fight back, using her hands and legs to defend herself from the woman on top of her. Passengers who were travelling with the duo in the same coach watched the dramatic scene unfold in disbelief, unsure whether they should intervene or not.

Passengers Intervened To Stop The Fight, But It Was Of No Use

As the altercation escalated, the two women were seen wrestling and stumbling over a seat, while fellow passengers kept their distance. A few eventually tried to intervene, but the chaos showed no signs of stopping. At one point, as the train halted at a station and the doors slid open, a passenger was seen quietly stepping out, choosing to avoid the fight altogether.

The exact reason behind the dramatic scuffle remains unclear, though some reports suggest it may have begun over a seat. The irony, however, is that the coach was almost entirely empty, including the very row where the two women clashed. The video quickly went viral, sparking a flood of reactions across social media.

Internet Reacts To The Scuffle Between The Two Women Inside A Delhi Metro Coach

One user said, “Delhi Metro is always entertaining."

Another added, “In Delhi Metro, the journey is short but the kalesh is long."

“Khali padi hai metro or ye seat k liye lad rahi hai (All the seats are empty, and these two are fighting over a seat)," reacted another individual.

Someone else wrote, “Ladies’ fights are interesting to watch. Attack 100%, hair-pulling 200%, damage 10%."

“People nowadays are losing patience in fractions of a seconds. This is why road rage has increased in India," one person noted.

“Seats to saari khaali padi hain," a comment read.

This is not an isolated incident. The Delhi metro remains in the news all around the year, whether for people creating reels onboard, or at other times, for more objectionable reasons.
