The Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested a man linked to firing at comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada. The accused, identified as Bandhu Man Singh, is known to be a close associate of gangster Goldy Dhillon and is already wanted in several criminal cases.

During the arrest, police recovered a Chinese-made pistol along with cartridges from him. Investigators say his role in the alleged conspiracy is now being probed further.

Recently on Wednesday Kapil Sharma recalled the firings at his cafe in Canada and said that the police might not have the power to control such incidents.

Sharma said the repeated attacks may be linked to Canadian regulations, but each incident ended up drawing even more attention to his cafe.

Speaking about at the event and said he has never felt so unsafe in Mumbai or even India. “I never felt unsafe in Mumbai or in our country. There is no other city like Mumbai, and we all know how efficient the Mumbai Police is," he said.

Kap’s Cafe, which began operations in Surrey, British Columbia, in July, faced its first attack on July 10, followed by two more on August 7 and October 16. No injuries were reported, and so far, no organisation has taken responsibility for the shootings.
