Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has reiterated his support for the ongoing student protests in Jharkhand over alleged irregularities in government recruitment examinations, while making it clear that the movement should remain in the hands of the students themselves.

Speaking on the protests, Dipke said it was not necessary for him to personally lead the agitation, stressing that the focus should remain on the aspirants fighting for a transparent recruitment process.

"It isn't necessary for me to be at the forefront," Dipke said, adding that a delegation from the CJP was already present on the ground to extend support to the protesters.

The protests, led by aspirants of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), have gathered momentum over allegations of irregularities in recruitment examinations. Students have been staging demonstrations and hunger strikes, demanding transparency, accountability and reforms in the recruitment process.

Dipke maintained that his party did not intend to take ownership of the movement. Instead, he said the CJP would function as a support system, helping amplify the voices of students while ensuring that the protest remained independent and non-partisan.

The student agitation has increasingly drawn national political attention. Leaders from across the political spectrum have expressed solidarity with the protesters, turning the recruitment issue into a wider debate on employment, examination transparency and youth aspirations.

As the protests continue, students have announced plans to intensify their agitation, with further demonstrations scheduled in the coming days as they press the Jharkhand government to address their demands.
