CCTV video: Businessman killed after being hit by speeding car in Gurugram

A 58-year-old businessman was killed in a hit-and-run incident in the DLF 2 area of Gurugram after a speeding car hit him while he was cycling. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and police are currently reviewing the footage to identify and locate the car involved.

A fatal hit-and-run occurred in Gurugram’s DLF 2 area, where a speeding car fatally hit a cyclist on Wednesday morning. The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Amitabh Jain, who had a medicine business. The businessman was killed on the spot and that the incident was caught by a nearby CCTV cameras.

According to sources, Amitabh Jain was a cycling enthusiast and had been cycling in Gurugram for many years. His son works in the IT sector in London, while his daughter is employed by an MNC in Bengaluru. Police have taken possession of the CCTV footage and are using the vehicle’s registration number to expedite the search for the driver responsible for the accident.

The incident has raised concerns about road safety in the area and highlighted the dangers faced by cyclists due to speeding vehicles.
