JJ News Desk

The BMW car which was used to move the body of ex-model Divya Pahuja from the Gurugram hotel where she was allegedly killed, has been located in Punjab's Patiala. The car was found locked and police have not yet confirmed whether Divya's body is in the car's boot.

Police earlier said they suspect Divya's body was dumped in a river in Punjab.

The Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Police, Crime, Vijya Pratap Singh, said the BMW was located at a bus station in Patiala. He added that two phones -- one which belonged to Divya and another which belongs to the prime suspect in the murder, Abhijeet Singh, -- have been recovered.

However, Divya's sister said she had another phone and the police are searching for that device.
