Bihar Election 2025 Phase 2 Voting LIVE Updates: Bihar Records 31.38% Voter Turnout Till 11:00 AM

The second phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has registered an approximate voter turnout of 31.38% as of 11:00 am. This phase is crucial for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's cabinet, as 12 ministers from his government are in the race.

The second phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 has registered an approximate voter turnout of 31.38% as of 11:00 am. Voting for this phase commenced at 7:00 am across 122 crucial constituencies in 20 districts and will continue until 5:00 pm. 

Preparations were in full swing ahead of the decisive round, where a massive electorate of 3.7 crore voters is poised to determine the political future of 1,302 candidates, including 136 women and one third-gender candidate. 

This phase is crucial for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's cabinet, as 12 ministers from his government are in the race. Among JD(U) candidates are Vijendra Yadav (Supaul), Lesi Singh (Dhamdaha), Jayant Kushwaha (Amarpur), Sumit Singh (Chakai), Mohammad Jama Khan (Chainpur), and Sheela Mandal (Phoolparas).

Ministers from the BJP in the race include Prem Kumar (Gaya), Renu Devi (Bettiah), Vijay Kumar Mandal (Sikati), Nitish Mishra (Jhanjharpur), Neeraj Bablu (Chhatapur), and Krishnanandan Paswan (Harsiddhi).

Bihar Assembly Polls: Kishanganj Records Highest Voter Turnout Till 11:00 AM

The highest voter turnout of 34.74% was recorded in Kishanganj district, while the lowest voter turnout with 28.66% was recorded in Madhubani district. Gaya recorded a brisk turnout of 34.07%, followed by 33.69% in Jamui, 32.88% in Aurangabad, 32.91% in Banka, 32.94% in Purnia and 32.39% in Paschim Champaran.
