New Delhi: Entry gates at all stations across the Delhi Metro network have been reopened, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Saturday.
In a brief update, the DMRC said, "Entry gates of all Metro stations of the Delhi Metro network are now open," in a post on X. The development comes immediately after CJP called off the protest.
Earlier on Friday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced that 18 Metro stations across the national capital will be temporarily closed from 7:30 am, Saturday as part of heightened security measures.
Entry and exit were suspended at several key stations, including Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat, although passengers were still allowed to interchange between Metro lines at these stations. With all entry gates now reopened, normal passenger access has been restored across the Delhi Metro network.
