Actor Ajith Kumar to resume practice today after narrow escape in race car crash

Actor Ajith Kumar will resume his practice session today in Dubai. On January 7, he had a narrow escape after his race car crashed during one of the sessions.

Actor Ajith Kumar is all set to resume his practice today for the Dubai 24H racing event. On February 7, the actor was involved in a car crash during a practice session and managed to escape unhurt. Fabien Duffieux, a member of the Ajith Kumar Racing team, shared an update about the actor and posted a few pictures after the car crash. The car race will begin on January 11.

After the car crash video went viral, Ajith Kumar's fans were concerned about his health. Speaking to India Today Digital, the actor's manager, Suresh Chandra said, "Ajith was practicing for hours to take part in the race that will happen on January 11. During one of the sessions, his car hit one of the walls and spun multiple times. The front part of the vehicle was damaged. He will resume practice today."

Suresh Chandra also assured that Ajith was safe, and a medical examination was conducted after the car crash.

Fabien Duffieux, one of the members of Ajith Kumar, revealed that the actor was safe and had no scratch despite the crash. In his caption, he mentioned that their learning never ends and that they are ready to face them as family.

Ajith Kumar and his team will take part in the Dubai 24H race. All through 2025, the actor's team will participate in many international race events.

On the work front, his upcoming film, Good Bad Ugly, will release in theatres on April 10. Meanwhile, his film, Vidaamuyarchi, which was slated for a release on January 10, was postponed due to unforeseen reasons. A new release date is yet to be announced.
