JJ News Desk

Bomb threat calls targeting nine schools across Delhi triggered emergency responses on Monday, the latest in a spate of similar incidents that have repeatedly disrupted educational institutions in major Indian cities.

Prominent schools in several districts received the threats between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. Delhi Police was alerted and fire teams and bomb disposal squads were immediately deployed.

Police said students and staff were promptly evacuated from the premises. Searches are currently underway.
