Blinkit launches temporary store at MahaKumbh Mela to serve pilgrims and tourists

Items that are available at the Maha Kumbh Mela Blinkit store include pooja essentials, milk, curd, fruits, vegetables, towels, blankets, bedsheets, and even Triveni Sangam Jal bottles.

Blinkit has launched a temporary 100-square-foot store at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj to cater to the needs of pilgrims and tourists.

In a post on X, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared details, adding that the store will provide essential items and deliver to key areas such as Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, Devrakh, and other prominent locations of the event.

“Today we've opened a temporary Blinkit store in Maha Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj to serve pilgrims and tourists. This one is a 100 sq ft store which will be delivering in Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, Devrakh, and other key areas of the Maha Kumbh Mela,” Dhindsa said in his post on January 17 that also included a picture of the store.

Items that are available at the store include pooja essentials, milk, curd, fruits, vegetables (both for consumption and donations), chargers, power banks, towels, blankets, bedsheets, and even Triveni Sangam Jal bottles.

Maha Kumbh Mela, the world's largest religious congregation, commenced on January 13 in Prayagraj and will conclude on February 26. The 45-day Maha Kumbh, happening after a gap of 144 years, started at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati rivers. Over 45 crore devotees are expected to visit the event.
