A Pakistani Ranger was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Rajasthan on Sunday while reportedly attempting to infiltrate the India-Pakistan border, with initial reports suggesting a possible infiltration attempt for spying or reconnaissance.

The Ranger, a member of Pakistan's paramilitary force, is reportedly from the Bahawalpur sector and is currently in BSF custody under the Rajasthan frontier. He is being interrogated to ascertain his motives, an official said.
