Indian-origin man in Canada wanted for killing his father: Police

An Indian-origin man is wanted for killing his father at their residence in Canada's Ontario province, police said.

Authorities in Canada's Ontario province said that 22-year-old Sukhaj Singh Cheema is wanted for first-degree murder for killing his father inside their home.

According to Hamilton Police, officers were called to the scene on Saturday evening where they found the severely injured person, Kuldeep Singh.

He was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries later.

Police said that Cheema had been in the area at least 30 minutes before the incident and fled the scene in a vehicle.

According to witnesses, the accused person is believed to have had an altercation with his father.
