Autorickshaws in Delhi are set to get a distinctly American makeover as part of the upcoming 250th U.S. Independence celebrations, the U.S. Embassy in India has announced.

Under the #Freedom250 campaign, vibrant autos featuring images of Donald Trump along with iconic American visuals will soon hit the streets of New Delhi, offering a unique cultural crossover on wheels.

The initiative is being positioned as a symbolic celebration of the enduring ties between the two nations. Sergio Gor said the campaign not only marks America’s 250th anniversary but also highlights the “strength and dynamism” of the U.S.-India partnership.

The rollout in Delhi is expected to be just the beginning, with the #Freedom250 campaign likely to travel across other parts of India in the coming months.
