Bangladesh court rejects arrested Hindu monk Chinmoy Das's bail plea

Chattogram's Metropolitan Sessions court rejected the bail plea of jailed Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, who was arrested on November 25 in connection with a sedition case. The bail hearing was held under tight security, weeks after Chinmoy's bail hearing in December was rejected by the court amid chaos and threats from Islamists.
