The separatist group said the offensive began on October 22, targeting military installations, intelligence offices and security posts in Gwadar and nearby areas, while warning of further attacks on Pakistani military infrastructure and China-linked economic projects.

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed that more than 80 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel were killed during a coordinated operation, named Operation Almas, in Gwadar and surrounding areas.

According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch on October 27, the operation began on October 22 and targeted Pakistani military installations, intelligence offices and security posts.

The group also claimed that its fighters destroyed 12 armoured vehicles and supply trucks, shot down four quadcopters and two surveillance drones, and seized two police stations during the operation. These claims have not been independently verified.

ATTACKS ON MILITARY INSTALLATIONS IN GWADAR

The BLF said its fighters targeted a major Frontier Works Organization (FWO) camp in Gwadar, along with military positions in Gabd and Rimdan.

According to the group's statement, its fighters held control of the main camp for more than 20 hours amid clashes with Pakistani forces.

The operation, as described by the BLF, involved attacks on multiple security installations across Gwadar and surrounding areas. The group claimed that the destruction of military vehicles and surveillance equipment was part of the coordinated offensive.

BLF NAMES OPERATION AFTER FEMALE FIGHTER

The BLF also highlighted the role of its female fighters, saying Operation Almas was named after Commander Almas Baloch.

The group described her as a key participant in the operation's planning and battlefield leadership, placing her role at the centre of its account of the offensive.

THREAT OF FURTHER ATTACKS

The BLF threatened to carry out further attacks on Pakistani military installations and economic projects, including those associated with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The warning signals the group's stated intention to continue targeting military infrastructure and economic projects linked to Pakistan. The threat was included in the statement issued by spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch on October 27.
