5 people shot in attack at school in Sweden's Orebro

The police said five people were confirmed shot in an attack at a school in Sweden. Police said that the case is currently being investigated as "attempted murder, arson, and an aggravated weapons offence".

Swedish police confirmed on Tuesday that five people were shot in an attack at a school in the city of –rebro, located approximately 200 kilometres (125 miles) west of Stockholm. The incident prompted a large-scale emergency response, with ambulances, rescue services, and police rushing to the scene.

"Five persons are confirmed shot," police said in an official statement, adding that the case is currently being investigated as "attempted murder, arson, and an aggravated weapons offence".

Further details about the circumstances surrounding the attack or the condition of the victims are currently unknown. However, ambulances, rescue services and police are currently on site.
