The two men, who allegedly opened fire outside the residence of Bollywood actress Disha Patani in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly last week, have been arrested following a police encounter in Ghaziabad, police said.

The accused, identified as Ravindra S/O Kallu, a resident of Rohtak, and Arun, S/O Rajendra, a resident of Sonipat, were injured during the encounter and are undergoing treatment in a hospital. Both miscreants have been reported to be members of Goldy Brar-Rohit Godara gang.

The encounter broke out after the two men opened fire on the joint team of Noida unit of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and the Crime Intelligence (CI) Unit of Delhi Police, who were searching for the accused.

In the ensuing gunfire exchange, both men sustained injuries. They were overpowered, disarmed, and shifted to a hospital for treatment under police custody.
