After actor Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit', actor Triptii Dimri was roped in opposite Prabhas. The 'Animal' actor has secured her biggest pay cheque yet, a massive Rs 6 crore, for her role in the upcoming action entertainer.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Spirit' marks a major career milestone for Triptii. The film is currently in the pre-production phase and is expected to go on floors in October. With Prabhas and Triptii in the lead roles and Vanga as the director, the film is already one of the most anticipated pan-India releases.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is furious after Deepika's rumoured exit from his film. On Monday, he shared a cryptic post slamming the 'dirty PR work of an actor'. In a strongly-worded post, he accused the unnamed actor of putting down a younger co-star and 'ousting' his story.
It was earlier speculated that Deepika received the fattest pay cheque to play the female lead opposite in 'Spirit'.
