Four-time Grammy winner Shakira is set to return to India this April, headlining the 2026 edition of the Feeding India Concert in what will be the initiative’s first-ever multi-city format. The Colombian global icon will perform in Mumbai on April 10 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, followed by a Delhi show on April 15 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

“Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi. The Feeding India Concert is about more than music; it’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive,” she said in a statement.

Produced and distributed by District, the concert aims to raise awareness around hunger and malnutrition, with Shakira placing the spotlight firmly on the cause.

Shakira’s return has been long awaited by Indian fans. Known for global hits such as Hips Don’t LieWhenever, Wherever, and the World Cup anthem Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), she remains one of the best-selling music artistes in the world. Beyond the stage, the singer has been an outspoken advocate for children’s welfare through her Barefoot Foundation, which focuses on access to education for vulnerable communities.

The concert has evolved into one of India’s prominent music-for-change platforms, bringing together artists and citizens to push for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030.

Ticket sales open in phases beginning February 27, with general sales starting March 1. Opening acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
