In the clip shared by Salman Khan, he was seen excitedly looking at the poster on his phone as Sonakshi Sinha and the film’s lead Vedika Pinto joined him.

'Nishaanchi' marks the cinematic debut of Aaishvary Thackeray, grandson of Balasaheb Thackeray. The film also stars Monika Panwar, Vedika Pinto, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, it is slated for a theatrical release on September 19.

Earlier, while speaking about the film, Kashyap had said, "We wrote ‘Nishaanchi’ in 2016. Since then, I have been looking to make this film the way it should be, and was looking for a studio that trusted me to do that, wholeheartedly."

He mentioned that the project was announced with Sushant in 2016, but after the actor signed two major films with Dharma Productions, he stopped responding to him
