Reality show star Rajat Dalal’s wedding may have been an intimate family affair, but a bigger celebration now appears to be on the cards. His fellow contestant Lakshay Kaushik, has said that Rajat had spoken about this plan earlier and that a reception will be held later for friends and others who were not part of the private ceremony.
Rajat had surprised fans on March 29 by sharing wedding pictures on Instagram, confirming that he had tied the knot while keeping his wife’s identity private. In his post, he described the moment as the start of a new chapter and later shared a wedding video as well, giving followers another glimpse of the celebration.
In Lakshay’s telling, the wedding was deliberately kept limited to close family members from both sides, which is why friends from the show were not invited. His comments have now cleared up some of the curiosity around the low-key ceremony and suggested that the absence of a big guest list was part of the couple’s original plan rather than a sudden decision.
The news has continued to draw a strong response online. Fans have flooded Rajat’s wedding posts with congratulations, while fellow reality-TV names such as Prince Narula and Chahat Pandey also reacted publicly to the marriage announcement. Farah Khan and Krishna Shroff had earlier praised Rajat’s journey on The 50, adding to the wave of attention around him in recent days.
