Pop singer Taylor Swift might make her India debut by performing at a private gig at the wedding of businessman Gautam Adani's son, Jeet Adani. Reports suggested that the Blank Space singer is in talks to grace one of the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet and Diva Shah.

According to News18, they quoted a source saying, "Taylor Swift’s team is in talks with the Adanis to perform at one of the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah. Even though Taylor has not confirmed her presence as of now, talks are underway and looks like the grand wedding will mark her first performance in India."

If the singer agrees to this, this will mark the 35-year-old's maiden performance in India. Back in 2014, Taylor had expressed her interest in visiting the country. As per Hindustan Times, she shared her wish to work in a Hindi film.

She said, "Indian cinema has a lot of music and dance, which excites me. I think Indians share a big passion for song and dance in the movies, which I love. It is a great way of connecting with the audience."

Meanwhile, billionaire Gautam Adani's son Jeet Adani will marry Diva Shah later this year.
