On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, he took to his Instagram to share a video montage featuring his ladylove, thus confirming his breakup with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. While Lalit Modi did not reveal his partner’s name, he shared several photos with her, revealing that their friendship of 25 years has turned into a relationship. Lalit Modi was previously married to Minal Modi. The couple tied the knot in 1991 and remained together until Minal died due to cancer in 2018.

Sharing the video montage with his ladylove on Valentine’s Day, Lalit Modi wrote, “Lucky Once – Yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25 year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #happyvalentinesday to you all." The video clip gives a glimpse of the couple’s precious moments together. When Lalit Modi And Sushmita Sen’s Relationship Made Headlines

In 2022, Lalit Modi took social media by storm after he shared loved-up photos with Sushmita Sen. He shared their pictures together from their Maldives vacation, along with a caption that read, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon."

After announcing his relationship with Sushmita, he also changed his Instagram bio, which read, “Founder @iplt20 INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE – finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47." However, a few months later, rumours about their breakup swirled after he changed his Instagram bio and profile picture, removing all traces of Sushmita Sen.

Earlier, in 2023, Sushmita Sen had addressed her brief romance with Lalit Modi. Speaking with Mid-Day, she said that while it was ‘just another phase’, she was amused with people calling her a ‘gold digger’.
