Marvel Studios is bringing Avengers: Endgame back to Indian cinemas with Endgame Encore, a special theatrical re-release scheduled for September 25, 2026. The extended edition will be shown in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, giving audiences another opportunity to watch the conclusion of Marvel’s Infinity Saga on the big screen.

Avengers: Endgame Encore will run for approximately 185 minutes, around four minutes longer than the original theatrical release. The additional runtime comes from new material incorporated into the presentation.

The film will also be available in IMAX and on screens carrying the Marvel Studios Presents INFINITY VISION certification.

Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019, picked up after Thanos' snap erased half of all life across the universe. The surviving Avengers were left to deal with the consequences of the defeat before attempting to undo the destruction.

The Encore release comes at a significant point for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Avengers: Doomsday scheduled to follow later in the year.

The re-release also gives audiences a chance to experience Endgame in a premium theatrical format more than seven years after its original release. With the added footage and Doomsday preview, the film’s return is positioned as both a nostalgic revisit and a bridge to Marvel’s next major Avengers storyline.

While the original Endgame remains unchanged at its core, the additional scenes and promotional material give the Encore edition a different purpose from a conventional anniversary screening. It allows Marvel to revisit one of its most significant films while directing attention towards the franchise’s upcoming theatrical chapter.
