Ahead of his performance in Mumbai today, Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, visited a temple in the city along with his girlfriend, Hollywood actor Dakota Johnson. Pictures and videos of them at the iconic Shri Babulnath Temple are being shared on social media.

Chris, 47, dressed in a traditional blue kurta, arrived with Dakota, who looked elegant in a simple printed suit. Embracing Indian culture, Chris wore a Rudraksha mala around his neck, and Dakota, 35, covered her head with a dupatta. Their appearance together also quashed rumours about their breakup, which had been circulating since 2024. The couple has been together since 2017.

In one of the videos, Dakota whispered her wish into Nandi's ear, a traditional way of praying at Lord Shiva's temple.

Chris Martin is in India for his band Coldplay's sold-out Music of the Spheres World Tour. The UK band will be performing at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21.

Earlier, a video of the singer walking around Mumbai was also shared on social media. It showed Coldplay's frontman, dressed casually in a grey T-shirt and trousers, strolling through the streets with Dakota, who wore a black dress.

Dakota and Chris started dating after the singer's divorce from his former wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18. The Fifty Shades of Grey actor had earlier said she enjoys touring with Chris when she is not working. Chris had called her his "best friend" during an interview with Rolling Stone.

After Mumbai, Coldplay will conclude their India tour with two shows at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. The concert will be live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
