For a long time now, uncertainty loomed over the upcoming season of Bigg Boss. Ever since the reports of an alleged rift between Colors TV and the show’s production house, Banijay Asia, made headlines, it was being said that the season 19 of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show might be cancelled. However, it has now been reported that Bigg Boss 19 is confirmed and will definitely happen.

As reported by Pinkvilla, Bigg Boss Season 19 is definitely happening and will be produced by Endemol Shine India. Reportedly, Salman Khan has also been confirmed as the host for another season and he will begin shooting the first promo in June end. The show is likely to go on air in July. However, an official confirmation from the makers regarding Bigg Boss 19 is still awaited.

Why Was It Said That Bigg Boss 19 Might Be Cancelled?

Earlier this year, rumours suggested that Bigg Boss 19 might be cancelled due to several reasons. A significant factor was the withdrawal of the show’s biggest sponsor, making it difficult for producers to fund the show without their support. Additionally, there were reports that Bigg Boss 19 might move to a new channel, Sony TV, due to creative differences between the production house, EndemolShine India, and the current broadcast partner, Colors TV.
