On Lata Mangeshkar’s birth anniversary, history and cinema found a stirring intersection. The makers of '120 Bahadur' dropped their second teaser as a special tribute, weaving the immortal strains of 'Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon' into the fabric of their war drama. First sung by Lataji in 1963 to honour the martyrs of the 1962 India-China war, the song has long stood as India’s collective memory of sacrifice – and now it resurfaces to anchor a story built on real heroism.

Set against the Rezang La battle, the film traces the courage of the 13 Kumaon Regiment led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, played by Farhan Akhtar. Shot across Ladakh’s stark terrain, the teaser captures both the vast solitude of the mountains and the unbreakable bond of soldiers standing shoulder to shoulder against impossible odds.

By aligning its release with Lataji’s anniversary, Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios underscore the emotional weight of the story. It’s not just another war film – it’s a salute, bound to the voices and memories that still echo from that era.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandrra, and directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai, '120 Bahadur' marches into theatres on November 21, 2025.
