A fresh showdown is brewing in India’s banking sector as the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has announced a phased nationwide agitation over several long-pending demands, including a five-day working week, changes to the performance-linked incentive (PLI) scheme and unresolved pension-related issues.
